LAY SUMMARY
Note: Registration is first-come, first-served. You will not be evaluated based on your submission. Please post a brief (~500 words) summary of a research paper or series of papers that you authored/co-authored. If you don't yet have any publications, please make a note below and summarize a paper of your choosing. Your summary should be written for the general public. You should try to write a summary that will be engaging to members of the public, and you should feel free to use any strategies you know if to make it interesting. At the Write-a-Thon portion of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to workshop their pieces. PLEASE BRING YOUR LAPTOP AND/OR A COPY OF THIS SUMMARY TO THE WRITE-A-THON PORTION OF THE EVENT.
